Celebrating Response to CrossLoop Globally

We launched CrossLoop on Nov 1 of last year and since then we are proud to say that we have been embraced by users in 130 countries. If you want to know more details of the CrossLoop world-wide coverage, click here

As you may have felt through this blog, we treasure every user and if they give us an opportunity to interact with them, we do so very enthusiastically and personally to learn more about them and how CrossLoop has helped them. Apart from learning and getting satisfaction that the product just works :) , its a huge motivator for this small team.

Needless to say, there are many media outlets that have taken us to our users - it has been the  radio, TV, magazine, websites, and our phenomenal bloggers (apart from users like you telling your friends about CrossLoop)

So to celebrate all our users and some of these media mentions of CrossLoop, we decided to represent and celebrate them through our "Global Response to CrossLoop" map.

You can click on the placemarks on the map or on the links on the left. [Don't forget to fly through these using Google Earth - the journey is a blast!]

Crossloopglobalresponsemap_3

[Legend: All Blue placemarks are CrossLoop Users; All Green ones are Media coverage and All Red (there is only one now - me) will be those associated to CrossLoop]

This "Global Response to CrossLoop"  will be a work in progress and I will continue to add users. Eventually, this will also feature on our site. Since we have many users now, I would like to add one from each country that has not been represented yet on this map.

So if you do qualify for that, you can email me the following so that I can get you up on this map:

  1. How and why you use CrossLoop
  2. Your geographic location
  3. A link to your site/blog/business if you have one
  4. A picture of you or one of your favorites

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

CrossLoop on TV

Yes - our regular TV!

You can only imagine how exciting it is for us for this coverage. Instead of hanging out online, I so wish I had discovered it in 'The Big Easy'! Jerry Seregni covered us in detail on the "Digital Gumbo" segment of WWL-TV [New Orleans Channel 4]. If you get there on time, you will see us on their home page here

Wwltv_5

On sending a note of appreciation (and checking with suspense if we really were on TV) to Jerry,  he  is promptly getting the tape of today's Morning News mailed to us. If I can figure out how to get all that onto YouTube, I will certainly post it up here to share with all of you.

Another big first for us - big hugs and thanks to Jerry!

CrossLoop - Best of the Internet in PC Magazine

Pcmagazineapril2007 I am yet to pick up the latest issue of the PC Magazine (as soon as I am done with this post), but I just learnt that CrossLoop has been covered by them under their 'Best of the Internet' on their Frontside section.

It is right here

This is an excellent recognition of the product our team has built and it is an honor for all of us. We thank our parents, spouses, our friends and users like Augustine, Ethan,  Jean, Michael, Steph.....(Do you hear music?)

I really do like weeks beginning like this!

Have to frame this one :) - Good Night and Good Luck

[Update1: I picked up a couple of issues and Yes - We are there!]

[Update2: This is the first time CrossLoop is in print]

First User Generated CrossLoop Video

It is no surprise by now that we treasure and celebrate our "firsts".

They seem to be adding up rapidly and here is a very exciting new one - the first demo video of our product made by Brano (I swear I am not slacking!). Apart from that Brano seems to be an avid vlogger - you can subscribe to his vlogs here on YouTube. If you read Slovakian (another 'first' I believe), you can read his review of CrossLoop here on his blog. Since Google and BabelFish do not translate Slovakian into English, I am confident it is all good!

Do a "CrossLoop First" and you get a celebrity status with us!

Good Morning and Good Luck!

There WAS an Alien Amidst CrossLoop

Until yesterday, I was a permanent resident alien. Today, my first day, I am an American! As you can see in the picture, I "see" a dream realize.

Meet Giuseppe Iovino

We have been very fortunate to receive support from all our users - you did it through blogs, through feedback and user stories, through suggestions, through recommendations on sites and radio shows or through just kind words.

A couple of days ago,I came across a review of CrossLoop in Italian and it got me very excited! It was not only because it was in Italian (CrossLoop got excellent reviews from Giovy and Salvatore - two of the top bloggers in Italy), not only because it was a good review :) but because Giuseppe Iovino is 13 years old (as he corrected me through his email!).

As far as our knowledge goes, he is our first 13 year old user AND blogger! Another excellent "first" to celebrate.

You can read his excellent review here

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

[Update: See Giuseppe's comment here]

First Radio Show Featuring CrossLoop

Well - yesterday I mentioned the first Podcast that featured CrossLoop and exciting enough, I discovered the first radio show that had discussed us on the air. Continuing with our tradition of celebrating our firsts, here is more information on the show and the host.

The show called, the Tech Guy, is hosted by Leo Laporte on KFI-AM 640. You can read details on Leo here and the official website for the show is here. He is also the host and Founder/ Host of the Twit.tv podcast (recognized as the top 10 podcast of the year by Time) . Something very cool that I also discovered was that he was my neighbor on VOX with his blog here. Finally, if you are still not impressed by the swanky neighborhood I "live" in, he has also been recognized by Forbes as one of the top 25 Web celebrities here.

You can stream the show where he mentions CrossLoop here.

Obviously he gets our signature "Free Hug" and so does the user who recommended us :). Thank you!

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

First Podcast to Feature CrossLoop

At least the first one that we are aware of - if you know of another, please let us know and we would love to feature it here. We love all our firsts - started with them here, the second day of CrossLoop going live.

Dr. Bill, The Computer Curmudgeon, has a good following on his well written blog on technology. Apart from that, he has his own Podcast Show. CrossLoop was featured as the "Geek Software of the Week" on his blog here AND then yesterday on his Podcast#75. That is a lot of podcasts and congratulations to Dr. Bill for sustaining the show!

Listen to his take on CrossLoop on his Podcast here

A hearty thanks to Dr.Bill from this team!

Good Night and Good Luck!

CrossLoop #2 on Del.icio.us' Popular Software

Thanks to the great support from our users, CrossLoop made it to del.icio.us's hotlist/ homepage yesterday. We posted about that here.

Now, for the first time, we have also made it to del.icio.us' Popular software list - #2!

Again - our sincerest gratitude goes out to them. It means a lot to a small team!

Users take CrossLoop to del.iciou.us homepage!

I had posted about CrossLoop's "firsts" first here and now our users bring us another one! (I think this calls for a specific category called "Firsts" for the blog posts)

CrossLoop gets bookmarked by its users and is brought to the homepage of Del.icio.us, the social bookmarking website!

Crossloopondelicious11406_2

A BIG thanks (Yes - with a hug) from the team here to all its users for the support and the feedback of the application the team brings to them.

We have seen a similar momentum on Digg from some of our users and if you like CrossLoop, we urge you to throw in your support at the following link as well. The instructions for supporting us are in the post here

Good Night and Good Luck!
