CrossLoop V2.41

We are pleased to bring you CrossLoop V2.41 with enhanced screen sharing functionality.

We are also excited to inform you that the CrossLoop community of expert Helpers continues to grow rapidly and is now at almost 14,000! Download the new version and get immediate help on CrossLoop for virtually any technology related issue anytime of the day or night without leaving the comfort of your home.

Many of the features listed below is based on user feedback so thank you to all for taking the time to tell us. We love to listen and even though we are small and cant do them all, we collect them due diligently so please keep them coming.

Key Features of CrossLoop V2.41

Improved Screen Sharing

Screen sharing now supports screen scaling and dual monitors. The default scaling is automatic, however full scaling or no scaling options are available at run time.

Share Tab Default

The CrossLoop client now defaults to the Share Tab after the initial installation. This will make it easier for Helpers to instruct Customers when they launch CrossLoop to share their screen. After the initial run, the software will remember your last use and return to that state upon subsequent start-ups.

Helper Thumbnail Photo Displayed on Share Dialog

The CrossLoop client will now display the Helper thumbnail photo when the client is connected.

Two Minute Timeout Assistance

In the event of a two minute countdown timeout when a "Connect" is done from the Share tab but a connection does not take place, the following dialogue is displayed:

--Did you give your Access Code to your Helper?

--Does your Helper have your correct Access Code?

--Click here to Find a Helper

Access to CrossLoop Helpers

The CrossLoop client has a footer which provides access to the CrossLoop community of Helpers. Now you can search for help directly from the client and find a Helper instantly.  Many CrossLoop users receive help from friends and family, but those resources aren't always available.  Now, we've made it even easier to get immediate, expert Help from over 13,000 CrossLoop Helpers for virtually any technology related issue.

Handling /VERYSILENT Installs

CrossLoop now provides a VERYSILENT Install option for partner organizations.  If you're interested in this product, please contact sales@crossloop.com.  In the event that the CrossLoop client is installed with the Inno Setup /VERYSILENT switch, the user will be prompted to accept the End User License Agreement upon the first run.

Download the new version here.

If you have questions or need help, email us at support@crossloop.com or feedback@crossloop.com for feature suggestions.

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

Could be a very useful tool for subscribers on my site, I'll give it a try, thanks.

Is there a place to view the change-log for all versions. I see some things here at the blog, but I am not seeing any information about 2.44 anywhere. Also, is there a place where I can download older versions?

crossloop running under wine - just " [login] " appear on the window and thats all.

install ie6 via winetricks http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks.. apparently it depends on IE libraries - BOOOO!!! HISSS!! :) but XLoop is still the best tool around.

thanks mrinvader for sharing. i just installed the previous version, 2.31 and its working fine on linux. hope next wersion after 2.41 will work on linux..
Ziah, software works and its the best i used so far..

Too bad the software doesn't work. The badges do nothing. I tried to get two people to connect nothing happened. I sure do wish it had worked...I think its a great idea. But I will have to stick with G2A and opt out of Crossloop altogether *insert sad face here*

i get same thing as stasik - [quote]Hy. i was currently using crossloop on linux (suse) and it was working ok. Today i upgraded to version 2.41 and i can not log in or even skip.
