Over 20,000,000 CrossLoop Minutes

We ended 2007 with a very inspiring recognition from CNet's Download.com as one the of the best 10 downloads for 2007 and now I get a chance to inform all of you that we have started 2008, with another excellent recognition - a recognition by one of the best authorities out there for us, all of you - our users!

It didn't feel too long ago that I was all excited about our first million minutes and here I am again, ecstatic to inform you that CrossLoop has now served over 20,000,000 minutes (=38 years!) over sessions between people helping and getting help! Today, a year ago, we had served 532,000 minutes i.e 37x growth in the use of our product because of you!! [Note: We show minutes served on our new homepage on the top left]

To give you a feel how far we have traveled in 38 years, here are some events that happened in 1970:

• Paul McCartney announces that The Beatles have disbanded
• This one is for Tom (our CTO who has run a few of these): The first New York City Marathon is run
• Jimi Hendrix dies
• Fiji becomes independent
• The global population is 3.6B
