Thanks to CrossLoop Users and LifeHacker Readers
We were fortunate to have been written up by Lifehacker (Rick Broida) some time ago - here is my post on it.
On one of their posts today - "Tech Support with VNC reverse connections" - here, we were just stunned to see how many of those who left comments recommended CrossLoop.
I left a thank you note for them in the comments section but I can't stop - thanks once again to DeaconSune, MechMike, xrobevansx, stopsucking, idjpg85.
There is nothing more organic and rich than happy users recommending us! I also do know that many of you are also doing so 'behind the scenes', so big hugs!
Can I jump?
Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

Hey, also building on Paul's note, a host only version would be brilliant, as he says 99% of the people i do the work with, only need the HOST button, and if i was at some1s house, i have a copy of it on my pen drive for remote-assistance..remotely...if that works,... aaanyway, Brilliant program! thank you for making it a available and free!

Lakshmi - thanks for the your nice comments on the jump! It is exactly how I feel :)
Paul - this is a really nice well thought out analysis! The good news is that we are listening hard. Due to requests from users like you, we are working away on a Pro version that will address your "con" and plus more! Will email you the details.

Nice job! Here's a comment I posted on a computer/IT business forum:
I've been using Crossloop for the past two weeks and really like it (as do my customers). It's incredibly simple to setup and for both you, the tech, and the end user.
Pros:
- free
- small download
- very simple to get it running on your machine - no configuration or "pre-setup" like TightVNC, SingleClick, etc.
- simple to install for the end user...they just download the setup file and install just like any other program.
- simple to run for the end user - click the "Host" tab, give the tech the Access Code (via phone, email, etc), click Connect and wait for the tech to connect and then click one more time to grant access.
- works through firewalls and NAT routers -- no port forwarding necessary
- requires a warm body at the remote end to grant you access to their PC...gives the customer a good feeling about security.
- proven remote control technology since it's based on VNC/TightVNC
Cons (for the free version, anyway):
- no customization options available, other than a few pre-made skins
- no dedicated "Host" version. I've requested a "Host" only version so that the end user doesn't have to see the Join tab...I know 99% of my customers would NEVER use it to connect to someone else.
