Would you Use CrossLoop Again?

Many of you by now have experienced this simple question we ask at the end of a session with CrossLoop.

58024335394

If you submit an email with it, you hear from me. Here are some of my observations on those responses and my tips:

  • The most frequent is a Yes, Oui, Ja etc. I can now actually say 'Yes' in 4-5 different languages !
  • Very often you have left responses with a lot of energy - "Hell Yeah", "Absolutely", "Definitely" or “You Bet”
  • Some have been more detailed like
    • "HELL YESSSSS... totally what i was looking for... the future is here... thank you so much for making it accessible free."
    • "Yes. It´s a great product! Thanks a lot! I´ll tell all my friends about it!!"
    • "This was great! I use it to help my mother-in-law format simple word documents. I love it and look forward to using it again. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!"
  • If some of you had difficulties, you let us know
  • Very occasionally, if you did not have the optimal experience for some unknown reasons - you have given us a chance to understand and resolve your problem and we really appreciate that and
  • Some of you have used it effectively to suggest features

Please do not hesitate to use it to contact us. If you need help, have suggestions or want to just say Hello to me - please do enter your email so that I can get back to you. I actually actually read and respond to all of them!

Alternatively, if you want to contact us, click on the ‘gear’ on the CrossLoop UI (applicable to the latest version - 1.02) - then click on ‘Help’ and select what you want to do.

You might have in the past or will definitely hear from me right away if you enter your email address - we are very proud of our relationship with all our users.

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

Celebrating Response to CrossLoop Globally

We launched CrossLoop on Nov 1 of last year and since then we are proud to say that we have been embraced by users in 130 countries. If you want to know more details of the CrossLoop world-wide coverage, click here

As you may have felt through this blog, we treasure every user and if they give us an opportunity to interact with them, we do so very enthusiastically and personally to learn more about them and how CrossLoop has helped them. Apart from learning and getting satisfaction that the product just works :) , its a huge motivator for this small team.

Needless to say, there are many media outlets that have taken us to our users - it has been the  radio, TV, magazine, websites, and our phenomenal bloggers (apart from users like you telling your friends about CrossLoop)

So to celebrate all our users and some of these media mentions of CrossLoop, we decided to represent and celebrate them through our "Global Response to CrossLoop" map.

You can click on the placemarks on the map or on the links on the left. [Don't forget to fly through these using Google Earth - the journey is a blast!]

Crossloopglobalresponsemap_3

[Legend: All Blue placemarks are CrossLoop Users; All Green ones are Media coverage and All Red (there is only one now - me) will be those associated to CrossLoop]

This "Global Response to CrossLoop"  will be a work in progress and I will continue to add users. Eventually, this will also feature on our site. Since we have many users now, I would like to add one from each country that has not been represented yet on this map.

So if you do qualify for that, you can email me the following so that I can get you up on this map:

  1. How and why you use CrossLoop
  2. Your geographic location
  3. A link to your site/blog/business if you have one
  4. A picture of you or one of your favorites

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

Thanks to CrossLoop Users and LifeHacker Readers

We were fortunate to have been written up by Lifehacker (Rick Broida) some time ago - here is my post on it.

On one of their posts today - "Tech Support with VNC reverse connections" - here, we were just stunned to see how many of those who left comments recommended CrossLoop.

I left a thank you note for them in the comments section but I can't stop - thanks once again to DeaconSune, MechMike, xrobevansx, stopsucking, idjpg85.

There is nothing more organic and rich than happy users recommending us! I also do know that many of you are also doing so 'behind the scenes', so big hugs!

Can I jump?

CrossLoop on TV

Yes - our regular TV!

You can only imagine how exciting it is for us for this coverage. Instead of hanging out online, I so wish I had discovered it in 'The Big Easy'! Jerry Seregni covered us in detail on the "Digital Gumbo" segment of WWL-TV [New Orleans Channel 4]. If you get there on time, you will see us on their home page here

Wwltv_5

On sending a note of appreciation (and checking with suspense if we really were on TV) to Jerry,  he  is promptly getting the tape of today's Morning News mailed to us. If I can figure out how to get all that onto YouTube, I will certainly post it up here to share with all of you.

Another big first for us - big hugs and thanks to Jerry!

New Version of CrossLoop - 1.02

We just released a new version - 1.02, which has fun and practical components.

The fun part, of course are the cool skins that we have for you to personalize CrossLoop.
How about the Aqua when you are on the beach in Hawaii and want to share your pics from right there and then or go 'Jungle' when you need help with your tracking software on your PC and later when you have a camp set up, gaze at stars with the 'Nebula'

Pink Lemonde and Red Graphite- what does that evoke in you? I think I need a vacation with a metallic red Fat Boy and work on my tan since I need one so bad.

Animated_skins

Apart from the skins, we have:

  • Improved the P2P performance in a session to give you a better performance
  • Changed the question mark icon to a gear icon on the lower left of the UI. If you click on that, you get a drop down menu, through which you can do any of the following:
    • Change a skin
    • Change the language
    • Click on Help to Contact Us, Report a problem, Check for updates, swing by to this blog and leave a comment on your most recent experience or help us spread the word by telling your friends
    • Configure your manual proxy configurations
    • Check your usage statistics and see how much you have deposited in your "karma bank" with your 'Join Sessions' by helping others.

If you do get that new skin up on your blog or site, I would love to know about it and please do contact us to give your feedback - you know we love to listen and learn.

A direct outcome of that is going to be our next release, which promises to be big and is driven by the learning we have done based on feedback from you. Stay close to this blog.

Good Night and Good Luck!
