CrossLoop's del.icio.us Bookmarks

We are always looking for a way to appreciate the support people are giving us. You support us through emails, addictive enthusiasm in surveys and very strongly through a blog post on your experience after using CrossLoop!

Bloggers were instrumental in taking us to the home page of Digg, they gave a great review on LifeHacker and they have taken us to Italy here and here, Greece, Netherlands, France and Japan amongst users now in 94 countries and spreading quickly! Wheeeee! You don't see what this means to us except through this blog but we are loving it. It means a lot to a small company like ours!

I started the BloggerLoop a few weeks ago - they were a collection of screen shots, on Flickr, of the reviews with a link to the blogs. I wasn't really satisfied - you couldn't see/read much, people couldnt get to your site right away and scaling that was not easy for me.

So now I am really excited about my spanking new widget - the 'del.icio.us bloggers' on the right. These are a collection of CrossLoop del.icio.us bookmarks of your experience.
Why do I like it so much?

  • Its on top of every page/post - no scrolling
  • We are going to share this with everyone - on this blog and on del.icio.us
  • I also like the fact that the widget allows us to communicate a little more in the 'notes' about what you you have written, practice my foreign languages (through online translators!)
  • It is a click straight to your site
  • Any one can get an RSS Feed (orange button) of the bookmarks and keep track of new reviews about CrossLoop
  • Furthermore, CrossLoop has been bookmarked there often by many of our users to take us to the homepage/hitlist of del.icio.us twice - so I am hoping far more people will discover your site, your reviews totally independent of this blog!

I haven't seen this widget used a lot so lets hope more and more people take this up over time!

I may have missed you site since there are many out there. If you notice it, please let me know through an email at mrinald@crossloop.com. I will try my best to get these links up as soon as I spot them.

I am very very excited about this - are you?

Good Night and Good Luck!

If only he knew about CrossLoop

This is a real funny video on internet tech support!

Apart from the fact that we, as a team love laughing and humor, we believe there are  millions who go through this comedy - exhibited really well in the video below - every day.

Now if only he knew about CrossLoop, navigating Outlook Express would had been a breeze for him but then we wouldn't have had this laugh - would we? So lets go ahead and keep this our little secret. Ssssshhhh.......

Your Feedback, Our Inspiration

We have been getting a lot of really cool and exciting emails from a lot of users and I thought it would be appropriate to share and thank you. We know you are busy so this means a lot. None of you see this but you are making a big difference.

Here are some of the best quotes that have made us pump our arms in joy:

Fred says: "I want to give you guys a big thanks for your software! Over the years I've become the tech support person for my family and friends. This has lead to many frustrating hours on the phone or trips at all hours to fix their PCs. Your software makes my life so much easier. It's easy to install and easy to use."

Darrel says: "I Love the program! It was extreemly easy to set up and use! I would hate to see it get bogged down with lots of extra stuff, but a file transfer would be very useful. I will look on your website for a place to donate!"

Megan says: "Thank you so much! I just used CrossLoop to help my father with a computer problem. He lives 250 miles away and is extremely visually impaired. He is technically savvy and does a lot with adaptive technology (screen readers and magnifiers). Every once in a while he has a technical issue that he can't sort out by himself. I had him install CrossLoops and while the software didn't "read" in his screen reader (JAWS), the type was large and there was enough contrast for him to see the code and the Connect button. I was able to solve his problem quickly without spending hours on the phone! Now he's going to put CrossLoops on my Mother's computer. (Oh no, what have I gotten myself into??!!) Thank you for creating a wonderful, easy to use program!"

Shanti says: "This is f***** GENIOUS!!! evil genious"

You can just imagine our engineers thumping their chest with joy, giving the Tarzan cry and swinging around in the office from computer-to-computer.

We have many more of these so I will share them over time. If you want more disclosure about you, your website and what you do, just let me know.

Good Afternoon and Good Luck

CrossLoop's Business Model and Team

Since we have had many new users come on board and many have asked questions related to our business model, I thought I would be address it again and also refer to the post about the team:

Currently, the product, as is, for consumers and businesses, is AND will always be free!

As a company we want to build relationships with our users - YOU! Listen, learn and interact with you. This will give us some really good feedback on the needs of the majority of our users and for what you want to pay. We do realize to continue making a difference, we have to sustain ourselves financially and hence at some point in the future, we will add features that will be premium in nature.

There is NO FINE PRINT!

If you have thoughts, ideas or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@crossloop.com or send an email to Mrinal at mrinald@crossloop.com ooooor leave a comment on this post.

About the Team
Finally since our product is all about trust and security, we believe knowing genesis of the company/ the product and the people behind it is very important. Here is the post on the people that are working towards bringing CrossLoop to you - a very happy bunch!

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

Free Hugs from CrossLoop to the many new users

My previous post was about how our users dugg us to the home page of Digg and just two days ago, we were reviewed by LifeHacker. Life Hacker found it through Dave Austin's post and recommendation of CrossLoop here for businesses. This has been very inspirational for a small team and we looove Rick Broida of LifeHacker) and Dave Austin of AllBusiness.com. Thanks guys.

If you have liked what we have built, don't hesitate to support us with a comment on LifeHacker :) - we love compliments!

We gave "free hugs" before to CrossLoop users and it is time for them again for the many new ones and celebrate Juan Mann's initiative. We love giving hugs so you will see this often :)

CrossLoop gets "dugg" to the homepage

This has been a very exciting weekend for this small team - we were pleasantly surprised when a blog post that included us by Blog Herald, written by Amit Agarwal, hit the front page of "Digg". Amit is the Author of Digital Inspirations here

Digitalinsamitagarwal_4

We have had many users write in to us with a lot of inspirational comments (I will share some of those comments soon) and how we are making a difference. At the end of the day, there is nothing more valuable than to know that we are making a positive difference in a small way in someone's life! Also and very importantly, a lot of good suggestions and requests. We value these very dearly since we are always in the "listening, learning and loving it" phase.

Obviously a lot of appreciation is due (Dont start the music yet!) to Amit and all those - 1548 as of now) who "dugg" his story.

Last but not least, I wish to mention Dad, Mom and MyBlogLog without whom none of this would have been possible! CrossLoop currently is a featured member on MyBlogLog which enabled Amit to find us in the first place.

Finally - I do not look like that. Since it is winter time now, I have my winter coat on - longer hair which refuses to stop growing!

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!

Thanks to all Bloggers from CrossLoop

The year has started on a great note - for certain with beautiful weather here in Silicon Valley :) - and before we move ahead with more exciting things (coming shortly), I did want to mention that 2006 was great for CrossLoop - all of the last 2 months of its existence since it came out with the product.

One of the biggest challenges any company, product or service faces - no matter how good it is - is awareness in a very noisy and busy world. It is a bigger challenge when it is really small and starting from scratch, like us.

We have been very fortunate to receive help from a lot of bloggers in getting the word out to their readers. A big thank you to all of you for it. I also wanted to acknowledge MyBlogLog for enabling me to reach out and build a relationship with many of you - it has been a pleasure to "meet" you.

In order to appreciate your effort and time, I have added a Flickr Badge - called BloggerLoop - on the right with screenshots of all the blog posts with a link to the post on your blog. We hope this will bring you some more readers and more people will hear about what you have to say, including your unhesitating and selfless support and review of CrossLoop!

It is possible that I have missed out a post/ blog and if you dont see yours in the stream, please email me at mrinald@crossloop.com and I will make sure to add it. This will be a work in progress and I will keep adding to it as more people blog about us.

Do let me know if this helps you or not? Is this a good idea or not?

Good Afternoon and Good Luck!
