CrossLoop's Business Model and Team
Since we have had many new users come on board and many have asked questions related to our business model, I thought I would be address it again and also refer to the post about the team:
Currently, the product, as is, for consumers and businesses, is AND will always be free!
As a company we want to build relationships with our users - YOU! Listen, learn and interact with you. This will give us some really good feedback on the needs of the majority of our users and for what you want to pay. We do realize to continue making a difference, we have to sustain ourselves financially and hence at some point in the future, we will add features that will be premium in nature.
There is NO FINE PRINT!
If you have thoughts, ideas or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@crossloop.com or send an email to Mrinal at mrinald@crossloop.com ooooor leave a comment on this post.
About the Team
Finally since our product is all about trust and security, we believe knowing genesis of the company/ the product and the people behind it is very important. Here is the post on the people that are working towards bringing CrossLoop to you - a very happy bunch!
Good Afternoon and Good Luck!
First off - I LOVE this product. But....
As stated above, "The product, as is, will always be free."
I understand this to mean as the normal evolution of the Crossloop product progresses it will no longer be "as it is" and will, employing your language, likely result in an enhanced version that will be no longer free. While some will want/need enhanced features I'm betting most will not. In my experience such an evolution ends up with any existing free version(s) being discontinued and left non-functional. I am understandably concerned and would rather not learn to love and rely on a product that will be taken away. Some of the best things in life ARE and should REMAIN free.

It is a legal provision that we keep for the future when we add premium features to the existing product. The product, as is, will always be free.

If CrossLoop will always be free, why is this in the EULA?

Thanks for your feedback Jason.
It gets all the more exciting when it about what users want to pay us for :)
Please keep them coming.

I'd like to use CrossLoop to charge people for tech support.
I'd pay to make it easier for an end user to find me and then pay for the support.
