First User Story

So here is the first post under the category we have created called "User Story" - we hope with a series of these we can get your experience to be shared with others. If you  are a small business or self-employed, we hope to let people know about your business as well.

Pete Warden, one of our users is also a brilliant engineer. He gave it a quick test run after downloading CrossLoop and got a post reviewing CrossLoop on his own blog here. He says it all on there so I will not repeat it again.

If you get a chance, I would also urge you to try his pretty cool search widget - it is a mashup, which brings Google results with a preview pane! It has certainly made me very productive and actually making me consider using it as my default search engine on Firefox - I have been using Ask recently.

You can find Pete's creation here

Stay tuned for more 'firsts' - startups have a lot of them :)

This time I mean it - Good Night and Good Luck!

Welcome HelpOnMyPC Users

First - a big thank you for your support and loyalty towards using our product. We have seen a lot of success with HelpOnMyPC but based on feedback and other bigger plans to continuously innovate for our users, we have made some changes for the benefit of all our users.

Here are the key elements about what is different:

Installed Version

  • CrossLoop is an installed version of HelpOnMyPC on your desktop - the single most requested feature from our users

A CrossLoop Blog

  • This will enable us to bring news about the product, the company and communicate with you and most importantly share your user stories with others. We will do this through a post and also add you on the right below as a 'User in the Loop'. With both of these, we hope to thank you with some promotion of your blog or site.

Skype, New GUI and Rating of Sessions

  • A very simpler User Interface with your Access Code available always along with an opportunity for you to rate your experience.
  • Our availability through Skype anywhere on the site and on the blog for customer service, queries, feedback, feature request etc. for all our users at any time

Do swing by to say Hello to us and give us your feedback about the change!

Until next time

Whitewater IT calls CrossLoop because of its "presence"

I am very excited to inform you that Larry Braziel of Whitewater IT is the first to contact us, through our Skype 'Call Me" button on our blog, at CrossLoop during our 'sneak preview'!!

This is very exciting for us since technology, some creativity and Web 2.0 is enabling CrossLoop to be close to their users. It enabled us to be available immediately to our user and try to address it their questions as soon as possible. As a team we strongly believe in listening to our users and want to bring the best to them in a collaborative approach.

If you want to learn more about Whitewater IT - a complete IT solutions provider - you can go to their website here or see them in "Users in the Loop" list on the right of this blog below. They use CrossLoop to support their customers.

We plan to continue adding our users to the list mentioned above and write about their CrossLoop stories - personal or commercial - as separate posts under the 'User Stories' category like this one. If you have one, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Good Night and Good Luck

Welcome to the Sneak Preview

If you are reading this and are not a part of CrossLoop - Welcome! Now it is really important that I don't have typos in my posts :)

Again - thank you for taking some time and effort to fill out our surveys!

You will see quite a few changes but let me take a quick moment to tell you a little more about the blog that might be of interest to you:

  • We have a section called Users "in the Loop" on the bottom right. If you are a CrossLoop user, let me know and we will get you on our blog with a URL to your own blog, webpage etc, if you have one.
  • Subscribe to the new CrossLoop posts on your "My Yahoo" or through a plain simple email on the right
  • If you have CrossLoop stories you want to share, we will get that up as well under a special category
  • Soon a Photo Album of CrossLoop users will be put up there as well. If you are interested in featuring on it and being 'in the loop', email me a picture. My email is on the Team section at "About us" at the bottom on www.crossloop.com

Soon you will be able to leave voice mails through Skype to me for any questions, clarifications that you might have related tothe product or the company. You can chat with me right away.

Do not hesitate to contact me for anything - we are "hear" to listen to you.

Logging off with excitement!!

Getting Closer... to launch and users

Sunday evening and I can feel the adrenaline rush - writing to myself right now but soon to many when we launch CrossLoop. We see many people and users strike-out the line item that reads:

"Help Mom and Dad on their PC" OR
"Help customer with our product" OR
"Train customer on our product remotely" OR
"Cut costs for virtual support tools" OR

from their "To-Do" list with the launch of CrossLoop. More line items will be "erased"... in the posts ahead.

Check list for the blog:
Can you see me on Skype on the blog on the right?
Can you see the feature to post comments?
Can you see the spanking new company logo?
...
...

Time to wrap and log in a 2 mile run.... until the next time with more exciting updates. Same Place, same Blogger.

Good Night and Good Luck!
